Anti-Sidebow Chains Characteristics
One of the most important Anti-sidebow chain features is the ability of the chain to pivot. The chain can bow sideways if the chain is positioned in the appropriate position. To achieve this, the chain is made of two separate parts: the inner link plate and the outer chain links. The latter two parts are made of plastic materials. The chain links are interconnected by a hinge. The hinge is designed to pivot about first and second axes. The hinge is formed by a pivot bolt or pin connected to the outer chain links. The inner chain links are attached to the outer chain links via lateral pivot openings, which are defined by individual support plates.
